Wheeler Motor Company was founded by Stanley Wheeler in 1948 as a Buick dealership. Stanley’s son, Jimmy, continued the family business and was a driving force in creating the dealership that is known and loved today by so many. Later, the company expanded with a GMC franchise and then even further as Chevrolet was acquired. The current generation, run by Gib Wheeler and his sister, Sandra Wheeler Evans, continues the tradition of service after the sale. It is this reason the Wheeler family has had the pleasure of serving generations of families from all around the Permian Basin for almost 70 years.
