Since 1881, First United Methodist Church has been First in the Heart of Big Spring. Through inspiring worship, spiritual formation groups for all ages, local and global mission opportunities, and relational outreach, we’re working hard to make Christ relevant for people today. Whether you've been in church all your life or have never stepped foot in a church before, you will feel comfortable joining us on Sunday mornings. 

Our Senior Pastor, Bill Ivins, grew up in Odessa, so he understands the people of West Texas. With passion, clarity, and authenticity he delivers Bible-centered messages that bring to life the Word of God in new, fresh, and applicable ways. Every week you will leave worship with a renewed faith in the living God!
